Preparing for El Niño
In anticipation of a stronger than normal El Niño, the City has compiled information to assist residents in preparing for the potential rain and storm events that may occur over the next several months. The El Niño Preparedness Page provides checklists for preparing property for and driving in wet weather, as well as contact information for specific issues that may arise during a storm. The page will be updated regularly with the latest preparedness and storm conditions. Updates will also be provided on the City’s official Facebook page.

- Property address is an even number, outdoor irrigation is allowed on Sunday, Wednesday and Friday only.
- Property address is an odd number, outdoor irrigation is allowed on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday only.
- All outside irrigation is prohibited on Mondays
- Violators are subject to administrative fines of up to $1000 per offense
