- Rubber Sidewalks Saves Trees
Public Works Department has currently implemented a sidewalk repair program using Rubber Sidewalk as a measure to repair sidewalks that have been altered by tree roots.

Due to the robust growth in the construction of new homes and commercial buildings, the City of Bakersfield's Wastewater Treatment Plant No. 3, located on Ashe Road, is nearing its treatment capacity.
