Beach Skate Park Expansion
Approximately 3,750 square feet of improvements to the Beach Park Skate Park are expected to be completed by late July, 2008.The improvements include a kidney shape bowl, a combination grind box/bleacher unit, banked ramping, smaller 2 and 3 step stair units, a "Hubba" grind box, flatwork linking the existing skate park, a Euro gap and a larger 8-step stair unit with a center handrail. The construction estimate is $125,000. The combined total area of the Beach Skate Park will be approximately 17,950 square feet once the improvements are complete. [Select picture for larger view]
